Samsung just announced yet another phone before their June 20th event in London, it’s the Galaxy Ace III. Now right off the bat, most of you are going to ignore it because you think it’s too low end for you, but that’s always been the case with the Ace family. They’re phones for the rest of the world, not for spec maniacs such as yourselves.
What’s under the hood? 4 inch 800 x 480 pixel screen, dual core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage (microSD card, of course), 5 megapixel camera, and a 1,500 mAh battery. That’s the 3G version. The 4G LTE support has a slightly faster 1.2 GHz processor, 8 GB of internal storage, and a 1,800 mAh battery. Everything else, as far as I can tell, remains the same. And yes, both run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
When will it come out and how much will it cost? That wasn’t in the PR. Sorry. I wouldn’t be surprised though to see it at less than 300 EUR. Less than 200 EUR would be perfect, but too hopeful.
Update: Whoops! This phone is actually called the Ace 3, not Ace III.
